1. Giraffe

Characteristics:

• Has a very long neck.

• Body covered with brown patches or spots.

• Long legs that help it reach high leaves.

• Herbivore (eats leaves, especially from acacia trees).

• Has two small horn-like structures on its head called ossicones.

2. Elephant

Characteristics:

• The largest land animal.

• Has a long trunk used for breathing, drinking, eating, and grabbing objects.

• Large, wide ears that help cool its body.

• Some elephants have tusks made of ivory.

• Herbivore (eats grass, leaves, bark, and fruits).

• Strong and intelligent animal.

3. Monkey

• Most monkeys have a long tail.

• Excellent at climbing and swinging in trees.

• Omnivore (eats fruits, leaves, seeds, and insects).

• Lives in groups.

4. Bird
